Teide National Park

Hosted by the island of Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, the race will celebrate its 13th edition in 2024. Runners will embark on a journey from the coast to 3,550 metres above sea level ascending the towering Teide volcano, the third-tallest volcano in the world from its base on the ocean floor.
The volcano and its surroundings make up the Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site considered one of nature’s true wonders. Runners will be immersed in a variety of landscapes across all races, with the chance to explore other-worldly scenes while traversing the jagged rocks of lava flows and running between volcanic peaks. Descents though steep pine and laurel forests to the coastal paths on the north coast and the finish line on the Martiánez beach will have every sense awakened.
