Four champions were crowned on the morning of the 15th anniversary edition of Tarawera Ultra-Trail by UTMB®, with two Kiwis and two Brits sharing the 50km and 21km spoils. In the 50km women’s race, Rotorua-raised Caitlin Fielder took out her third Tarawera title, securing victory in 4:01:41. BRIMELOW AND CROFT WIN UTA50 TITLES AT ULTRA-TRAIL AUSTRALIA The Gold Coast’s Tom Brimelow and New Zealand’s Ruth Croft have claimed the men’s and women’s UTA50 titles at Ultra-Trail Australia in the Blue Mountains. The two runners came out on top across the 50km course, which included 2,450m of elevation gain, with Brimelow finishing in 4:35:44 and Croft in 4:52:09.
