Kim Collison has just won the Northern Traverse

Kim Collison has just won the Northern Traverse completing 300km in 44:24:30 (according to the tracking timing) with Rory Harris finishing in 47:29:02. Lisa Watson is the leading lady and has about 30k to go. The race started at at 10:30 am on Saturday at St Bees on the west coast, before crossing the north of England through three National Parks finishing in Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. Beginning at St Bees on the west coast, the Northern Traverse crosses the north of England through three National Parks finishing in Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. The self-supported event started at 10:30 this morning and runners have until 1:30 am on Thursday to complete the journey. There are six official races that make up the Transgrancanaria HG 2022. The 126km Classic, the 62km Advanced, a 43km marathon, the 26km starter, and two shorter events including the KV El Gigante (vertical kilometre). British ultrarunner Sabrina Verjee has set a new record after running a three peak challenge in St. Lucia setting an FKT, the fastest known time set by a woman. The record-breaking British ultra-runner from Ambleside, completed the three peak challenge by running up three of its highest iconic peaks, Petit Piton, Gros Piton and Mount Gimie in 5:16:00 on March 3. Cheung Man-yee Is First Female Hongkonger To Finish 298km Hong Kong Four Trails

Cheung Man-yee is the first female Hongkonger to finish the 298km Hong Kong Four Trails Ultra Challenge. The HK4TUC links all four of Hong Kong’s major trails, the MacLehose, Wilson, Hong Kong and Lantau Trails.
