3100 Run and Become – The Movie

Perhaps the most elusive, elite multiday race in the world, the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, takes place in Queens, New York City each summer. The latest issue of Ultrarunning World magazine (UWM)  is an interesting mix of articles by ultrarunners from the UK and the USA and from France Mireille Cormier writes about her 6 day race in Wychwood, South Africa. USATF’s Mountain Ultra Trail Council (MUT) 2018 Ultrarunners of the Year have recently been announced. Camille Herron won the Female Road Ultrarunner of the year award before setting a new World record at Desert Solstice with 162.9 miles in 24 hours. The US ultrarunners of the year for 2017 were Jim Wamsley and Camille Herron and Ultrarunning has great interviews with both Camille and Jim (see links below) about his big races last year.
