The organizers of the world-famous Badwater® 135 Ultramarathon from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney in July – host the Badwater® Salton Sea 81-Mile Ultramarathon annually in late April. Kim Collison has just won the Northern Traverse

Kim Collison has just won the Northern Traverse completing 300km in 44:24:30 (according to the tracking timing) with Rory Harris finishing in 47:29:02. Lisa Watson is the leading lady and has about 30k to go. The race started at at 10:30 am on Saturday at St Bees on the west coast, before crossing the north of England through three National Parks finishing in Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. Beginning at St Bees on the west coast, the Northern Traverse crosses the north of England through three National Parks finishing in Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast. The self-supported event started at 10:30 this morning and runners have until 1:30 am on Thursday to complete the journey.
