MCLAUGHLIN AND HAUNSCHMIDT  CROWNED TUM50 WINNERS AT 2023 TARAWERA ULTRAMARATHON BY UTMB   Mclaughlin And Haunschmidt were among the first four winners crowned this morning at the 2023 Tarawera Ultramarathon by UTMB, with men’s and women’s 21km and 50km trail runners setting blistering times on their way to the titles. If you havent seen it already there’s a great article on the BBC website about Mark Cockbain’s Tunnel Ultra by Justin Goulding, a 200 mile race that takes place in Coombe Down railway tunnel just outside of Bath. The course is approximately a 1 mile out and back loop that ultrarunners have 55 hours to complete.
